Dr. Thomas Su, is the owner and cosmetic surgeon of Artistic Lipo. He has led our full-time clinic specializing in awake-only liposuction since 2007. Dr. Su began his medical career in internal medicine, practicing that until 2005, when he began to provide a full spectrum of non-invasive cosmetic procedures

WHAT SETS DR. SU APART FROM FELLOW COSMETIC SURGEONS
is that few others have any artistic background or training. Dr. Su is defined by his passion for art since high school. He went on to study human figure drawing, painting, and sculpting in college, resulting in a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. His love for art of the human figure is made apparent in all of his work and is the reason for his high degree of perfectionism when it comes to liposuction.
Compared to other cosmetic or plastic surgeons who perform a myriad of different surgeries, Dr. Su concentrates on only liposuction. He has developed advanced skills and a level of expertise that few surgeons doing liposuction can master. Dr. Su is the innovator of the Interactive Lipo Method and Celebrity Arms™ Sculpting. The Interactive Lipo Method is a culmination of techniques derived from Dr. Su’s background as a figure artist and sculptor.
Dr. Su’s procedure incorporates techniques that a master sculptor would use; whether it was to sculpt wood, clay, or stone. These are techniques that are not taught as part of a liposuction course or curriculum. Dr. Su often presents his method at different cosmetic surgery society meetings including the AACS and ASCOP and teaches these techniques to other surgeons. He also authored the book Celebrity Arms™ in a Day – Body Sculpting with the New Interactive Lipo Method.
Today, Dr. Su still pursues human figure drawing outside of his regular work schedule. He has proudly participated in multiple juried art exhibitions including Nude Nite Tampa, a large annual art event.
