Beating That Bra Bulge – Why Armpit Fat Removal Is on The Rise

Everyone has something he or she wants to change. However, for an increasing number of women, their bra bulges are becoming a serious concern. The fat between the bra and armpit – the bra bulge – can spoil the appearance of clothing. It can also make women feel self-conscious when wearing tank tops or swimwear. This is why more cosmetic surgeons are receiving inquiries from women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s about suitable treatments. So, how can you beat bra bulge? The answer lies in armpit fat removal via liposuction.

Isn’t A Well-Fitting Bra the Answer?

Some people think a well-fitting bra can minimize the appearance of armpit fat. However, this doesn’t always work. Excess weight can be the cause of some bra bulges. Sometimes, though, the cause lies elsewhere. Poor muscle tone can cause sagging, or accessory breast tissue may start to grow in the armpit area. Whatever the cause, because of the nature of fat in this area, there is often an overspill of fat. No bra can disguise this problem.

How Does the Removal of Armpit Fat Work?

You can remove armpit fat in several ways. Some cosmetic surgeons promote treatments, such as Kybella or CoolSculpting, as a solution. However, many regard arm liposuction to be the best option.

Liposuction is the best-known and oldest option for fat reduction. It involves making small incisions in the armpit area before a surgeon inserts a cannula to remove fat cells. Once the surgeon has removed the excess fat, he or she, then, closes the incisions with stitches. A great advantage of armpit lipo is that a surgeon can perform it under a local anesthetic. Therefore, the patient can go home the same day and will make a speedier recovery.

The other two options, CoolSculpting and Kybella, are less effective. CoolSculpting involves chilling fat cells to kill them. The procedure only removes around a fifth of the bulge’s fullness. Also, several treatment sessions are necessary. Kybella is a medicine that a doctor injects into the area to dissolve fat. It requires multiple treatments to show any effect. It’s, therefore, easy to see why liposuction is the favored choice of most women.

Why Is Celebrity Arm Sculpting Surgery the Best Solution?

Scarcely a day seems to go by that we don’t see celebrities on the red carpet with flawless arms. Beautifully toned and shapely, celebrity arms are a desirable look. If your arms are less than perfect, it’s only natural to wonder if arm sculpting surgery could be the answer.

If you have batwings or excess fat around the tops of your arms, liposuction can help. By removing the excess fat from these problem areas, it can restore a shapely, toned appearance to the upper arms. However, not all cosmetic surgeons can achieve the desired results. It can be difficult to produce the right effect when carrying out lipo on the upper arm. This is because of the arm’s 360-degree curve. Removing fat evenly to produce a smooth result can be challenging. Without the right level of training and experience, the outcome could be dissatisfactory at best and lumpy at worst.

Here at Artlipo, we offer our Celebrity Arm treatment, which is ideal for anyone wanting a comprehensive upper arm solution. If you want your arms to look like those of big-name Hollywood stars, our surgery is the optimal solution.

Why Is Celebrity Arms Surgery Different?

More than 99 percent of all cosmetic surgeons will only treat a small portion of the arm when performing lipo. They also don’t treat the shoulder area. Instead, they focus solely on the batwing or lower hang. In standard training, a surgeon doesn’t carry out liposuction on the top or side of the arm or the shoulder. This is because these areas are highly fibrous. Therefore, achieving an even, smooth, and sculpted result is hard. Not only that, but plastic surgeons receive instructions to be conservative in their fat removal. They’re told to only remove around half the fat thickness because of concerns about skin looseness.

The Celebrity Arms procedure treats the whole shoulder and arm. It also removes up to 90 percent of fat thanks to a specialized technique paired with advanced skills. As a result, the outcome is a significantly slimmer arm.

Why Choose Celebrity Arm Surgery?

When it comes to arm liposuction, achieving a complete result is key. Here at Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery, we are pioneering our Celebrity Arms technique. This innovative lipo technique produces fully toned and slimmed arms with tight skin and beautiful muscle contours. Thanks to the skill of Dr. Su, you can expect high-definition, 360-degree treatment for your shoulders and arms.

We’re proud to say that our Artlipo team members are specialists in this field. Every month, our team carries out our Celebrity Arm sculpting surgery on more than 40 patients. Many come from around the globe to benefit from our expertise. In total, we’ve performed more than 1,000 cases of Celebrity Arm surgery. In contrast, most cosmetic surgeons will only carry out a handful of arm lipo cases in a year. It’s no wonder that we’re leading the way in this area of liposuction!

How Do I Hide My Fat Legs? Or Should I Consider Cankle Removal?

If you have less than perfect lower legs, you might be wondering what you can do to camouflage the problem. Cankles – where the ankle and calf lack definition – are a common problem for many women. If you’re a sufferer, you may be looking for advice about how to hide your fat legs. Cankles can seriously damage your self-confidence and make you feel self-conscious. So, what can you do? Can you hide your fat legs with the right clothing? Or, should you consider cankle removal instead?

Wearing the Right Pants

Fashion advisers recommend that women with cankles choose pants over skirts whenever they can. Wide leg, flared or straight cuts are the best options. These women should avoid skinny jeans and leggings since they emphasize the lower leg. Pants that fall from the hips in a straight line are the most flattering. For women with wide hips, bootcut jeans are a good choice since they balance the proportions. Cropped pants are an absolute no-no. Since they come to an end at the ankles, they emphasize the problem zone. Bermuda shorts and capris work best when they end at the knee.

Choose the Right Skirt Length

It’s important to choose the right length of skirt or dress to flatter your legs. First, find the leg’s narrowest part. The hemline should end at this spot. For many women, this will be either just below or just above the knee. You should avoid ruffles and embellished hems since they draw the eyes down. Tapered skirts, such as fitted pencil skirts, accent curves. This could draw the eyes up and away from the lower leg. However, the hem still needs to rest on the leg’s slimmest part.

Wear Tall Boots

Women who have cankles should invest in a pair of well-made tall boots. They give women a lean and long look. Tunics paired with leggings and long boots look great. Many stores sell wide calf boots that are ideal for women with cankles. Avoid booties, however. They only emphasize heavy lower legs. When choosing shoes or sandals, avoid ankle straps or shoes that emphasize the ankle. The higher the heel, the better as this elongates the leg. Avoid stilettos. Wedges and chunky heels give better balance.

Choose Monochrome Colors

Dresses and skirts always look better if you choose pantyhose in a color that matches your shoes. For an even sleeker look, choose a dress or skirt in a matching color, too. Black is the most flattering color of all and makes legs look leaner and longer. Distraction is also an easy fashion trick. Wear striking prints, bright colors, and bold patterns on your upper half.

Opt for A More Permanent Solution

Although it’s possible to hide your cankles with fashion choices, it isn’t a permanent solution. If you’re ready for something more effective and long-term, cankle removal is the right choice. Here at Artlipo, we carry out cankle liposuction to improve the appearance of fat legs. By removing the excess fat and sculpting the lower leg, you can achieve a perfect definition. Never again will you need to think about choosing the right pants or hemline. You’ll be free to wear anything you like and feel good wearing it. Contact Artlipo today to find out more about how we can help you achieve the legs of your dreams.

Want to Know How to Remove Upper Arm Fat?

Are you one of the many women who is unhappy with the way her arms look? As we get older, we often experience the phenomenon known as bat wings. This is the term used to describe what happens when excess fat accumulates on the upper arm. This causes an unsightly appearance that makes sufferers feel self-conscious. They may also develop a lack of self-confidence. Hiding bat wings can be challenging, especially during the summer months. If you find that you are always wearing long sleeves, even on the hottest days, it is time to act. You can’t avoid wearing tank tops and swimwear forever. Luckily, there are permanent solutions that can resolve your problem. So, do you want to know how to remove upper arm fat for good? The answer lies in the Celebrity Arms procedure of Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery.

What Is the Celebrity Arms Procedure?

Here at Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery, our expert cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Su, has pioneered the Celebrity Arms technique. As a leading surgeon, he has devised a way to guarantee complete fat removal from the arms. Dr. Su carries out this liposuction procedure under a local anesthetic. The patient is awake and alert throughout the surgery. This allows Dr. Su to use his awake lipo technique. He makes small incisions in the affected area and inserts cannulas to suck out the excess fat. Dr. Su asks the patient to move and tense her muscles to allow for the removal of more fat. As a result, sculpting is possible around the full 360-degree curve of the arm. The outcome is excellent, with patients immediately seeing the difference in their upper arms.

Why Choose Artlipo Instead of Another Cosmetic Surgeon?

The upper arms are a notoriously difficult area to perform liposuction on. Many surgeons will only perform very conservative surgery in this area. Usually, they will only treat the bat wing area. This is because the shoulder area is fibrous and hard to treat. This, therefore, rarely produces the result that patients have been hoping for. While their arms are slimmer, they still lack definition around the muscles.

Artlipo’s Celebrity Arms liposuction is a much better alternative. It guarantees complete fat removal. In fact, this technique can remove up to 90 percent of the excess fat. Thanks to the extreme skill of Dr. Su, he can achieve a very sculpted effect. He will not only remove fat from the bat wing area but from the top of the arm and shoulder, too. As a result, the patient can enjoy the red carpet look for herself!

Liposuction Works Best at Which of The Lipedema Stages?

If you’ve received a diagnosis of lipedema, you’re probably wondering how to find relief. Although there are conservative treatments, such as massage and compression, these won’t resolve the problem. There is only one true solution to lipedema, and that’s to have lower limb liposuction. This will permanently remove the fat cells and reduce the pain and swelling in the legs. Since fat accumulates as the condition goes through the various lipedema stages, it’s a progressive condition. It will inevitably get worse without treatment. However, because of the problems of getting a diagnosis, many women don’t discover they’re sufferers until it’s too late.

What Are the Stages of Lipedema?

As lipedema develops, it progresses through four stages. These stages describe the tissue structure, as well as the skin texture. Pain, however, isn’t considered when describing each stage. Even in the earliest stages of the condition, the patient can still experience extreme pain. She may also struggle to walk and stand for extended periods, even in stage one.

At stage one, the surface of the skin remains smooth. However, there is thickened fat under the skin, with a fine-knotted structure. When the disease has progressed to the second stage, the skin surface becomes uneven. The structure of the fat also becomes more coarsely knotted. By the time the condition has reached its third stage, large lobes of fat appear. These give the legs a deformed appearance. The tissue also becomes harder and coarser. The final stage is when lipo lymphedema develops.

The Types of Lipedema

Not only are there four lipedema stages, but there are also four lipedema types. In type one, the fat under the skin is visible in the hips and buttocks. In type two, the condition has spread to the knees. This allows fat to form inside the knee. In the third type, the fat extends from the ankle to the hip. In the fourth type, the lipedema begins to affect the arms, although the wrists remain unaffected. If lipedema stays untreated, lipolymphedema can develop and combine the symptoms of lipedema and lymphedema.

When to Have Liposuction

In theory, lipedema is treatable with liposuction at any stage. The timing of the treatment will vary depending on the individual. Initially, lipedema can seem benign. This is because the earliest stage only results in fluffy fat accumulation. Patients at stage one may have only slight evidence of heaviness and swelling. However, when the condition progresses, it can cause major health issues. As the stages progress, the fat starts to harden. This causes more pain and swelling. Eventually, the buildup of fat can block the lymphatic system. This causes lymphedema, which escalates the lipedema symptoms.

Tumescent liposuction is the only treatment that will help to address the cause of lipedema. It can reduce or even reverse the condition’s symptoms. Studies have revealed that lipo improves patients’ symptoms over an extended period.

Liposuction for lipedema removes the fat cells permanently by sucking them out through a cannula. You will observe immediate results. However, it will take some time for you to see the full effect. Since it removes the fat, lipo can improve any mobility problems the patient experiences. It can also reduce the pain experienced with this condition.

Although liposuction works at any of the lipedema stages, the earlier the patient gets treatment, the better the outcome. If you’ve just received a lipedema diagnosis, contact Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery today. We can answer your questions and help you relieve your suffering.

Liposuction as A Lipedema Treatment – Is It Right for Me?

If you have lipedema, you are probably searching for a solution to your pain and suffering. It can be difficult to get a lipedema diagnosis. Many doctors remain quite unfamiliar with the condition. Even though as many as 11 percent of women suffer from lipedema, it is still often misdiagnosed as obesity. However, if your lower body is out of proportion with your upper body, you may have lipedema. You will not reduce lipedema fat by exercise or dieting. It also feels tender, can be painful and may bruise easily. It is also a progressive condition, so it worsens over time. It is often only at a later stage that women finally receive a diagnosis. Yet, the earlier you receive a diagnosis, the better the outcome of the lipedema treatment.

What Are the Treatments for Lipedema?

There are several conservative treatments for lipedema that doctors recommend. These are nonsurgical options. They may suggest lifestyle changes to relieve pain and swelling. Patients receive advice to eat less inflammatory foods. Sometimes, doctors may recommend the keto or paleo diet. Patients could also do some exercising. Doctors recommend aquatic exercises and walking, as well as yoga, cycling, and Pilates. This gets the lymphatic system moving and helps to build strength.

There is also a treatment called complete decongestive therapy. This eases the painful symptoms but doesn’t address the cause of the problem. This therapy involves having a type of massage called manual lymphatic drainage. This uses rhythmic and gentle movements that stimulate lymph flow. It also involves using compression through stretch bandages and custom-fitted clothing to increase the pressure in the tissue. This reduces the chances of fluid accumulating.

Although conservative treatments can help to reduce swelling and pain, they don’t make lipedema go away.

What About Liposuction?

There is one treatment that can address the cause of lipedema – liposuction. Liposuction removes the fat cells that cause the problem. Although it is a surgical procedure, it is very effective. Many patients choose this option because it permanently removes fat and reduces pain and swelling.

A plastic surgeon carries out liposuction for lipedema under a local anesthetic. The patient remains alert and awake during the procedure. The surgeon makes small incisions, and he or she inserts small cannulas under the skin. The cannulas suck up the fat cells and remove them from the affected area. Patients can immediately see a reduction in the size of their lower bodies. Once all the swelling from the surgery has gone down, the patient will see the full result. This could take several weeks or months. There will also be less pain. Studies have proven lipo for lipedema has significantly reduced or even completely eradicated the symptoms of the condition. It is also a long-lasting solution.

If you are looking for a lipedema treatment and are considering trying liposuction, contact Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery today. We are experts in treating lipedema with lipo and can help you find the relief you seek.

Should I Consider Surgery to Make My Legs Thinner?

Many women are worried about the appearance of their legs. We constantly see images of female celebrities on TV, in magazines, and on social media. All seem to have beautifully toned, slim legs that look fantastic in a miniskirt. It’s no wonder, then, that so many women feel as if their legs aren’t up to scratch. Whether you have cankles or chunky thighs, you may be wondering if surgery to make your legs thinner could help.

How Can I Make My Legs Look More Toned?

Fat on the legs can be stubborn and resistant to diet and exercise. Many women who embark on a strict diet and exercise regime find that their legs refuse to improve. While they may become slimmer overall, there’s no way to reduce fat in any single body part. When it comes to the legs, it’s particularly difficult to target stubborn fat deposits.

There are some exercises you can do to target the legs. These will help to tone the muscles and give the legs more definition. Calf raises are one such exercise that can help to improve the tone of the muscles. Jumping rope is another exercise that can help to improve the muscle tone throughout the leg. However, even when muscles are well-defined, if a layer of fat remains over them, the legs will still look chunky.

Liposuction Surgery Improves the Appearance of the Legs

If you’ve failed to see results from your exercise and diet regime, you may be considering something more effective. Liposuction could be the answer you’ve been seeking. A surgeon can carry out lipo on both the lower and upper leg. He or she can remove excess fat from the thigh area, as well as the ankle and calf. This means the legs can look slimmer and more sculpted and have better muscle definition. If you’re considering surgery to make legs thinner, liposuction is the solution you’ve been looking for.

How Is Liposuction on The Legs Carried Out?

Here at Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery, we are experts in the field of liposuction. Dr. Su is leading the way with his pioneering active liposuction technique. As he is also a skilled artist, he produces a wonderfully sculpted and artistically beautiful result.

Dr. Su carries out lipo on the legs when the patient is under a local anesthetic. This means the patient is awake during the procedure but experiences no discomfort. As the patient is alert, however, she can move during the surgery and tense her muscles when required. This allows for a complete fat removal around the entire 360-degree curve of the leg.

Most cosmetic surgeons take a very conservative approach to leg liposuction. It’s difficult to remove fat evenly from around the curve of the leg and to achieve a smooth result. Dr. Su is an expert at this. He can achieve the complete removal of fat to allow optimal muscle definition. The outcome is a beautifully slim and toned leg that restores the patient’s confidence.

If you’re considering surgery to make your legs thinner, contact Artlipo today. We’re here to help you improve your appearance and achieve greater self-confidence.

Nonsurgical Options or Surgery for Cankles – Which Produce the Best Results?

Cankles are an all-too-common problem among women. This lack of definition in the lower leg can cause self-confidence issues and lead to low self-esteem. Women often find they are unwilling to wear skirts or dresses. They may avoid swimming or participating in activities that would involve showing their legs. They may feel self-conscious in front of their partners because of the merging of their calves and ankles. It’s no wonder, then, that so many women are looking for a solution to the problem. There are some nonsurgical options to choose from, but could surgery for cankles be a better choice?

What Are the Nonsurgical Options for Cankles?

There are limited nonsurgical options to treat cankles. Many women try to exercise as a way of toning their calf muscles to improve the appearance of their lower legs. Doctors sometimes recommend exercises, such as jumping rope or doing calf lifts. While these may help to make the calf muscle more defined, the benefits may not be obvious. When a layer of stubborn fat covers the area, you cannot see the muscle definition. Pairing calf muscle-building exercises with aerobic exercise and a healthy diet may also help. However, it’s impossible to reduce fat. This is especially true in the lower leg area, which can be resistant to any efforts to move the fat.

Could Surgery for Cankles Help?

Some women are reluctant to consider a surgical option. They’re worried about the pain they may have to go through and are afraid there may be complications. However, those women who do undergo liposuction for their cankles are delighted with the results.

No surgeon can guarantee that any surgery will be 100 percent safe. Here at Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery, we are experts in the field. Dr. Su is a well-respected cosmetic surgeon with years of experience. He has pioneered innovative techniques that are leading the way in the industry. So, you can be sure you’re in very safe hands if you opt to have lipo with us.

Our surgeons perform cankles liposuction when the patients are awake but under a local anesthetic. This means they experience no pain or discomfort, but they can move during the procedure. The active lipo technique means the surgeon can completely remove the fat. The patients can tense their leg muscles and move in different ways during the surgery. This means that maximum fat removal can take place around the entire 360-degree curve of the leg. The surgeon can enhance muscle definition and achieve a slimmer and toned appearance. In Dr. Su’s expert hands, the outcome is a beautifully sculpted, smooth lower leg with a defined ankle and calf.

Contact Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery today to find out more about surgery for cankles. We can answer all your questions and help you to decide whether liposuction is right for you. Lipo is a long-lasting, permanent way to remove fat from the leg. As such, it’s a much better solution than any nonsurgical option. We can help you to achieve the results you desire so you can wear short skirts again.

Do Doctors Know What Causes Lipedema?

Lipedema is a poorly understood condition that causes uneven and abnormal fatty deposit buildups, usually in the thighs and hips. This fatty tissue can bruise easily and can be painful to the touch. Usually, it only affects women. It also runs in families, with many women suffering alongside their mothers and grandmothers. Usually, lipedema begins during puberty, and there isn’t a cure. So, what causes lipedema, and how can you treat it?

Lipedema – What Is It?

Many women who suffer from lipedema often believe they’re simply fat. The condition causes fat deposits to accumulate in the lower half of their bodies. This usually affects the knees, thighs, buttocks, and hips. Sometimes, the arms are also affected, but the feet and hands remain unaffected. Usually, lipedema affects both sides of the body equally. The affected area looks disproportionate when compared with the upper body.

It’s believed lipedema affects up to one out of every nine women. Yet, it often goes undiagnosed, so it’s unknown just how common it is. Doctors are still poorly trained in spotting and diagnosing lipedema. Often, they confuse it with obesity or lymphedema.

What Causes Lipedema?

Unfortunately, the precise causes of lipedema remain unknown at present. Since it can often run in families, a genetic link is likely. Researchers who have studied patterns of lipedema in families believe it may be a dominant gene. However, they have found no gene fault that increases the risk of developing the condition. Lipedema usually begins during pregnancy, menopause or puberty. This suggests that hormones also have a role to play.

Living with Lipedema

Lipedema makes life hard. The condition’s physical effects cause problems with walking and standing. There may also be other medical implications, such as joint pain and varicose veins. Lipedema affects self-esteem and confidence as well. This also affects personal relationships. As many women go undiagnosed until the disease has reached a later stage, this only exacerbates the problem.

How Is Lipedema Treated?

Although the cause of lipedema is unknown, there are treatments available. Conservative treatments are usually the first port of call. However, these focus on the symptoms rather than the cause. Patients can have a massage to drain the lymph fluid, as well as compression bandages or garments to reduce swelling. These measures can help to relieve some of the pain and swelling associated with this condition. However, they aren’t a permanent answer to the problem.

The only real solution to lipedema is to have liposuction on the affected areas. It helps with the symptoms, reduces bruising and pain, and improves mobility. While it doesn’t cure lipedema, its benefits are usually long-lasting.

Here at Artistic Lipo and Plastic Surgery, we’re experts in treating lipedema with liposuction. Dr. Su is highly experienced at carrying out liposuction on the lower body. He can produce a complete result and remove the maximum amount of fat cells. This means patients can enjoy excellent outcomes. They will have less pain, and their lower bodies will also be slimmer and less heavy. This improves mobility and boosts self-confidence. As a result, sufferers can enjoy a better quality of life.

We may not understand what causes lipedema, but we can help sufferers to look and feel better in the long term.

I Just Received A Lipedema Diagnosis – What Happens Now?

Lipedema is a surprisingly common condition that affects around 11 percent of women. It occurs if fat becomes distributed irregularly under the skin. Usually, the fat accumulates in the legs and buttocks. While it starts as simply a cosmetic problem, over time, it causes pain, as well as other problems. It can be difficult to get a lipedema diagnosis. Some doctors are, as yet, quite unfamiliar with the condition. They may, therefore, diagnose patients as having lymphedema or obesity instead. Yet, getting an early diagnosis is imperative. The earlier treatment begins, the better the outcome for the patient. So, if you have just received a lipedema diagnosis, what happens next?

Lipedema Symptoms and Causes

The most common symptoms of lipedema are a larger lower body and column-like legs. Bruising is common, and the legs feel tender. Very disproportionate women, such as a size 8 upper body and size 16 lower body, may have lipedema. At first, it’s easy to think that you simply have fat legs. Yet, the fat will fail to respond to diet and exercise. If left untreated, the condition will progress. The fat will continue to accumulate, and the lower body will get heavier. At later stages, the fat can even begin to accumulate on the arms, too.

No one knows what causes lipedema. However, some experts suspect that female hormones have a role to play. Women suffer from this condition the most. It usually starts during puberty or becomes worse at this time. It also often arises during pregnancy, after having gynecologic surgery or at menopause. It may also be genetic. Some women who suffer from it have other family members who also have the condition.

What Kinds of Treatments Are There?

If you have just received a lipedema diagnosis, it’s natural to be worried about what happens next. What kinds of treatments are available, and do they work? There are several options doctors may recommend to patients with lipedema. Some are more effective than others.

The main treatment doctors suggest complete decongestive therapy. This can ease the painful symptoms associated with the condition. This therapy involves two separate elements. The first is manual lymphatic drainage. This is a type of massage that uses gentle, rhythmic pumping movements. It stimulates lymph flow through the blocked areas toward the healthy vessels. Then, it can drain into the venous system, thus relieving pain and preventing fibrosis. The second part of the treatment is compression. This uses custom-fitted shorts, panties or pantyhose or stretch bandages. They increase the tissue pressure inside the legs. This reduces the chance of fluid accumulating again. Patients are also advised to exercise gently to reduce the buildup of fluids and improve their mobility.

Is There A Better Option?

Unfortunately, complete decongestive therapy doesn’t treat lipedema itself. It only helps to relieve the symptoms. There is, however, a better option – liposuction. This is the only option that can treat the condition effectively. Liposuction of the legs removes the fat cells permanently. By using a cannula under the skin, a surgeon can suction out fat tissue. If you have received a lipedema diagnosis, it could be the right choice for you.
